Commonly known as
Amaranth Oil
This emollient is extracted from the seeds of amaranthus caudatus grain, native to south America. It is very rich in natural tocopherols and tocotrienols, plant sterols, and carotenoids. It is also very high in squalene, a lipid found naturally in the skin, which gives it the ability to penetrate deep into the skin. This helps transport other ingredients that may not be able to penetrate the skin as easily. This oil stimulates growth, strengthens keratin, has hydrating properties and helps naturally increase hair’s elasticity.
