Activated Charcoal

This fine, black powder is produced by heating common charcoal (derived from bamboo, coconut shells or wood) in a gas. It develops “pores” that allow the charcoal to trap chemicals. The ability of the powder to absorb toxins comes from this process. It is used to purify and cleanse the hair and scalp of dirt and excess oils.
