This oil is obtained through steam distillation of the Peppermint herb. It has a fresh, sharp scent, comparable to Menthol, which is one of it’s most active components. With astringent properties, it helps tighten pores, cools and warms the skin and acts as an anti-inflammatory. It also has properties that reduce pain and stimulate, energize and invigorate the scalp.
