Babassu Oil

Sometimes called babassu seed oil, comes from the cold pressed kernels of the Amazonian Orbignya oleifera, or Babassu palm. Solid at room temperature, it melts when it touches your skin making it an effective moisturizer. It is very rich in healthy fatty acids. It has a very similar texture to coconut oil, but is much lighter and does not leave an oily feel.
